Privacy Policy
RustVision provides a Rust+ assistant dashboard, Telegram notifications and a browser extension used only for Rust+ pairing through Steam.
1. Data we process
Depending on the feature you use, RustVision may process:
- Dashboard account data: username, password hash, session data, balance, plan and settings.
- Rust+ pairing data: Steam ID, Rust+ token, generated GCM Android ID and GCM security token.
- Bot data: server configuration, team settings, Telegram ID, alert preferences and event history needed to run notifications.
- Website analytics: page path, referrer, UTM labels, browser metadata, approximate location and visit source.
- Security logs: IP address, request path, status code, user agent and account ID for abuse prevention and support.
2. How the extension works
The RustVision extension runs on the official Facepunch Rust Companion login pages. It reads the Rust+ authorization token returned by that page and sends it to rustvision.net/panel so your dashboard can complete Rust+ pairing.
The extension does not collect browsing history, does not read unrelated websites and does not sell data. It stores local pairing status and the paired Steam ID only to prevent accidental pairing of a second account.
3. Why we use the data
- To authenticate users and keep the dashboard working.
- To connect Rust+ and deliver raid, server, market and game chat notifications.
- To process payments, plans and team access.
- To diagnose errors, protect the service from abuse and provide support.
- To understand traffic sources through Google Analytics, Yandex Metrika and internal visit statistics.
4. Sharing and storage
RustVision does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by infrastructure, analytics, payment and messaging providers only when needed to operate the service. Rust+ credentials are stored for the account that paired them and are used by the bot to receive Rust+ events.
5. Your choices
You can ask support to clear Rust+ credentials, delete account data or explain what is stored for your account. Some technical logs may remain for a limited period when required for security, abuse prevention or accounting.
6. Contact
For privacy questions, account deletion or Rust+ credential removal, contact RustVision support at leontiynevsky@gmail.com.
