Rust+ raid alerts in Telegram

When your paired Smart Alarm triggers, RustVision can send a Telegram message. You can set it up for free from the dashboard.

1. Connect Rust+ and your server

Sign in to the RustVision dashboard, install RustVision Connect, and authorize Rust+ through Steam. Then join your Rust server and pair it from the in-game Esc menu. Follow the Rust+ connection guide if you have not completed those steps.

2. Pair a Smart Alarm

Place a Smart Alarm at your base and wire it into the circuit you want to monitor. Pair the device with Rust+ in the game. After synchronization, it appears in the dashboard’s Electricity section. The bot needs an alarm connected to that event before it can detect a base alert.

3. Link Telegram

Open the Telegram setup in your dashboard and follow the pairing instructions shown there. The dashboard provides the bot and a confirmation code. Once linked, check that messages reach the intended chat.

4. Choose your alerts

Open Alerts and enable Smart Alarm messages. If calls are available in your dashboard, enable them separately. Alarm triggers and message delivery appear in the event history.

Test the setup

Trigger your own alarm and check whether the event appears in the dashboard. If the dashboard shows it but Telegram does not receive a message, check your Telegram link and alert settings. If there is no event in the dashboard, check the circuit, Smart Alarm pairing, and active server.

Common questions

Do raid alerts cost anything?

No. RustVision is free to use; a subscription is not required for setup or alerts.

Can I get a call instead of a message?

You can enable calls in the dashboard when they are available for your connected account and alert channel. Calls and messages have separate settings.

Why is there no alarm event?

Check that your Smart Alarm is paired with Rust+, powered, and connected to the active server selected in the dashboard.
